Terms of Service
IMPORTANT: this terms-of-service document is a template provided as a starting point. Before publishing, fill in your company details, review the refund and liability clauses against your actual offering, and have it reviewed by a lawyer.
1. Definitions. "Operator" — [COMPANY NAME], [ADDRESS], company registration [REG. NO.]. "Site" — the website at [https://domain.com]. "User" — anyone who uses the Site.
2. General. These terms govern use of the Site, including contact-form enquiries, newsletter subscription and event-ticket purchases offered by the Operator. By using the Site you accept these terms.
3. Technical requirements. To use the Site you need an up-to-date browser with JavaScript enabled and an active e-mail account (for the contact form, newsletter and purchase confirmations).
4. Ticket purchases. Tickets are sold through the Stripe payment gateway. Prices include VAT (Poland 23%, UK 20%, where applicable). After payment you will receive an e-mail confirmation with a link to the event. An invoice will be issued using the details provided at checkout.
5. Right of withdrawal (consumers). Under Art. 16(l) of EU Directive 2011/83 (Consumer Rights), the 14-day right of withdrawal does NOT apply to services connected with leisure activities provided on a specific date. If the Operator cancels an event, the full amount is refunded within 14 days.
6. Newsletter. Subscription uses double opt-in — your e-mail is activated only after you confirm the link sent to your inbox. You can unsubscribe at any time using the "Unsubscribe" link in the footer of every newsletter e-mail.
7. Complaints. We accept complaints about purchased tickets or service quality by e-mail at [contact@example.com] within 30 days after the event. We review them within 14 days.
8. Intellectual property. All Site content (text, graphics, trade marks) belongs to the Operator or its licensors and is protected by copyright law. Use without permission is prohibited.
9. Limitation of liability. The Operator is not liable for damages caused by Site downtime resulting from force majeure or hosting-provider outages. Liability for contract performance is limited to the price paid.
10. Personal data. Data-processing rules are described in the Privacy Policy at /en/privacy-policy.
11. Final provisions. Matters not covered here are governed by Polish law. Disputes are resolved by the court competent for the Operator's registered office — except that consumers may use the court competent for their place of residence.
